What we did
The Fanzine Archive is a digital preservation project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, bringing historic football fanzines online for future generations.
We built a multi-site Umbraco platform that hosts individual archives for different fanzine publications. Each site has its own identity and branding while sharing a common CMS infrastructure. Current sites include The Pie (Notts County FC), Overall Magazine, and Brian fanzine.
The platform features page-by-page digital reading, search functionality across issues, and responsive design for reading on any device.
